A day at the aqua park, August 2016

A day out with Alice at the aqua park - part of TRAIN's new holiday programme!

TRAIN provides support for the young people in Didcot, particularly those aged 11 to 18, who tend to hang around the streets.

Our detached youth workers go out, with one or two volunteers, and meet the teenagers, get to know them, listen, and try to understand any of their needs. We then offer support with solving any problems and put them in contact with any relevant services. We also find out what the teenagers like doing and offer ways in which they can develop interests in their leisure time.

Plus, I get to play football with some great players and interesting characters ... What's not to like!'
