Didcot TRAIN Youth Project

Phill Holt

Hi everyone my name is Phill (Phillip when I am in trouble) and I’m extremely excited to be one of
the team here at TRAIN. I have always dreamed of having a full-time role supporting young people
within their lives and education so when the opportunity here became available I grabbed it with
both hands!
I am 27 years old and have a 7 year old son who I cherish dearly. I love my sports and am a HUGE
Arsenal fan (sorry Spurs fans). I had a very interesting time growing up as a teenager and have
experienced a lot in life with struggles good and bad which has made me the person who I am
today, which I am extremely proud off. It has been a huge ambition of mine to support and help
young people in every way I can.
I have had many different roles working with young people which I have loved. I worked for Catch
22 supporting young people as a teaching assistant, sports coach and mentor within their school
time and home life. I also worked for an organisation called Treloars School and college: a role I felt
was also very rewarding, I supported young people with disabilities with their day to day lives and
struggles as well as their education. I have also worked in two different children’s homes as a
therapeutic residential worker working alongside some amazing people and learning so much
along the way!
