Didcot TRAIN Youth Project

TRAIN stands for To Reach out And INteract with young people. This is exactly what our youth workers and volunteers do. We go out (2-3 times a week for 2 hours or more) and talk to young people that gather on the streets, in the parks or wherever. We offer alternatives to hanging around, give information or just offer a listening ear.

To be able to offer this and other projects to the young people of Didcot takes a lot of time and resources so your financial support is key to the success of this ongoing work.

Are you having a birthday or anniversary party, special family and friend’s celebration?

Perhaps you are going to take part in a challenge and are looking to support a good cause with your efforts?

If you are have you thought about nominating TRAIN as your chosen charity?

We depend on the support, goodwill and marvellous generosity of the people of Didcot to help raise funds to work with the young people in our Community and are so appreciative of your kindness.

Ray Powditch had his 70th Birthday party at the Marlborough Club and invited along fellow musicians to help him to celebrate his happy milestone. He decided that he wanted to support 2 Didcot based charities and so he kindly nominated TRAIN as one of them. Thank You Ray and we are delighted you had a great time!

Ethel Newysnkyj has just celebrated her 60th Birthday with family and friends at The Harwellian club. She has had a terrific week of celebrations and like Ray she also nominated 2 charities to benefit from her special birthday. She has kindly Gift Aided her donation on behalf of TRAIN. Thank you so much for thinking of us.
