Thank you
TRAIN stands for To Reach out And INteract with young people. This is exactly what our youth workers and volunteers do. We go out and talk to young people that gather on the streets, in the parks or wherever. We offer alternatives to hanging around, give information or just offer a
listening ear.

To be able to offer this and other projects to the young people of Didcot takes a lot of time and resources, so your financial support is key to the success of this ongoing work. We’re incredibly grateful for donations of any size. Particularly considering the challenges these times are bringing for young people, your support is appreciated more than ever.

Please see below various options for supporting us financially - some incredibly easy and fun too! We appreciate not everyone is in a position to donate at the moment however, so we would love for you to scroll down to see other means of helping us if so! Thanks so much.

Bank Transfer

make a single or regular donation via your bank account
Account name: Didcot TRAIN
Sort Code: 40-52-40
Account number: 00031765

This is the best way to give as all the money you donate will reach us. However, please use our online giving account if that is easier for you.

Using your name will help us claim gift aid if you have already completed a declaration.

If you haven’t previously done so, it would be great if you could think about completing our online Gift Aid declaration form (button below), as this will help your donation go even further to support the young people of Didcot.

Another fun, easy way to support!
Tickets for the weekly lottery cost £1, each with a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize of up to as much as £25,000! From every £1 ticket, 60p goes to the registered cause of your choice and another 10p then distributed to other good causes in South Oxfordshire. Good luck!

Fundraise For Us!

Make a donation by fundraising
Are you having a birthday or anniversary party, special family and friends celebration?
Perhaps you are going to take part in a challenge and are looking to support a good cause?

If you are, have you thought about nominating TRAIN as your chosen charity? We depend on the support, goodwill and marvellous generosity of the people of Didcot to help raise funds for our work with the young people in our community. We are so grateful for your kindness!

Ray Powditch had his 70th birthday party at the Marlborough Club and invited along fellow musicians to help him celebrate his happy milestone. He decided that he wanted to support two Didcot-based charities, and kindly nominated TRAIN as one of them. Thank you, Ray, and we are delighted you had a great time!

Ethel Newysnkyj has just celebrated her 60th birthday with family and friends at the Harwellian Club. She has had a terrific week of celebrations, and like Ray she nominated two charities to benefit from her special birthday. She has Gift Aided her donation on behalf of TRAIN. Thank you, Ethel, for thinking of us!

Spreading the word!

Another hugely appreciated way in which you can support TRAIN is through simply spreading the word! From talking about what we do with others, to sharing our Facebook and Twitter posts (@DidcotTRAIN), this all helps us reach as many young people as we can in the area.
